Getting fired is an unfortunate but unavoidable evil of employment. Sometimes employees just don't work out, and you have to let them go. But most managers at least have the respect to do it face-to-face.

But these 21 bosses decided to let their employees go over text for some dubious reasons. Like with a breakup, sometimes you have to sack up and tell someone the tough truth. But we can't expect integrity like that from a bad boss.
